SCHOOL OF ROCK

This is Rock & Roll. GENERAL JONES band leader Matthew "Shark" Shartsis teaches at The Paul Green School of Rock - at the two Bay Area Locations - San Francisco and San Mateo. This music school is an amazing place for young people to learn how to play music and become well rounded, appreciative musicians. As a private instructor and show director, Shark has been blown away by the dedication and talent of the young musicians that attend. Click the picture above to learn more about a school near you.
Elephants For Africa

I (Shark Shartsis) recently went on a trip to Botswana in Southern Africa. More Specifically, The Okavango Delta. On one leg of my journey, I met a group of researchers that opened my eyes and mind to an amazing project: ELEPHANTS FOR AFRICA. Headed out of The University of Bristol in The United Kingdom, is dedicated to preserving one of nature's most magnificent creatures. The folks involved in this project are highly dedicated, passoinate people (believe me, I saw them working from sunrise to sunset in the field). Their research focuses on releasing captive elephants back into the wild, as well as learning about behavioral and social tendencies of this incredibly complex animal.
